Our Therapists
For a compassionate team in Park Ridge that specializes in reproductive mental health, look no further than Crescent Moon Therapy.

Each body is unique, and it’s defeating when you want to have a family and cannot get pregnant. Our team will provide support and care, regardless of your ability to conceive.
We can create a safe, informed space for you to explore options to continue to try and conceive or explore other choices like adoption, surrogacy, or other reproductive methods that may be suitable for your family. Our goal is to ensure your confidence in the direction of your perinatal planning, and the trust you have in our team for your fertility counseling in Park Ridge means a lot to us.
Our number one priority is helping you understand that you are not alone. Millions of women struggle with fertility problems, and you do not have to go through this journey on your own. At Crescent Moon Therapy, we will never treat you like a mere statistic. Rather than turning exclusively to probabilities and likelihoods for future pregnancy attempts, we will take the time to address how you are feeling right now.
It is okay to be upset—more than okay, in fact. We encourage you to get in touch with those feelings. What we can then do with those emotions is reroute them toward empowerment and self-confidence. Even if we cannot solve your infertility issues directly, we will provide you with the mental health support you need to get through this difficult period.
Our network includes BCBSIL PPO, Aetna, and BCBS HMO Site 447, 243, and 312 (Endeavor Health/NorthShore Physician Associates). If you’re not part of any of these insurance networks and would like to pay out of pocket, we can offer you a monthly “superbill” that outlines the services you received. You can then submit this directly to your insurance company to see if you are eligible for reimbursement.
Please Note: Before starting services, make sure to contact your insurance provider to inquire about your coverage for behavioral health. Not every provider will cover these services. In the event that you cannot receive coverage from your provider, you will be responsible for paying the full contracted rate, which is $175 for the intake session and $160 for all subsequent sessions.

Your consultation will cover your personal and familial history with different mental conditions as well as your current symptoms so we can select not only the best therapist for you, but the best therapy type to address your concerns. Alternative Family Planning Methods
We know just how difficult it can be to learn that 100% natural conception is not possible.
However, there are other ways for you and your partner to reproduce and raise children.
In our sessions, we can discuss the benefits of IVF or IUI methods of conceiving to see if those options are viable for you.
Additionally, adoption is something we can consider together. No matter what you decide, we are here to support you.
