Hi! I’m Jayme!

I am a graduate student working towards my degree in clinical mental health counseling at Northwestern University, a career-changer, and mom of two. I am so excited to join the team at Crescent Moon Therapy. Becoming a mother is a profound life transition and a journey that often does not look how we thought it would or how others tell us it should.

I am passionate about working with individuals experiencing infertility, perinatal anxiety or depression, high-risk pregnancy, miscarriage, and birth trauma, whether you are currently experiencing these challenges or have in the past. The isolation during this period can be significant, but you do not have to walk this path alone. I also have a deep interest in the impact of perfectionism on maternal mental health and supporting individuals through the identity shifts that occur after becoming a parent.

While my personal experiences have led me here, everyone’s journey is distinctly their own. I believe in the “and.”  We can validate and honor our painful experiences and find growth and meaning. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to find your version of personal growth and meaning in the context of your challenges while honoring your values and what is most important to you. My approach to counseling is strengths-based, informed by cognitive behavioral principles and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and rooted in the research of self-compassion.

My goal is to meet you where you are, and you can show up without worrying about judgment, filtering, or perception. I take this role incredibly seriously and feel privileged to share in a part of your journey.

If you are ready to begin your first steps toward perinatal mental health, book an appointment with Crescent Moon Therapy.
