Hi, I’m Molly. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Whatever brings you to therapy, I truly am glad that you are here. You might feel incredibly lonely, stuck, or lost. You might be wanting to show up for yourself, your kids, your family, in ways more aligned with the kind of person, parent, partner that you want to be. You may have no idea what any of that even means to you. You may just want to feel better. All of that is okay. It’s more than okay- it’s brave, it’s honest, and it’s life’s great work. I’m really honored to walk this path with you.
Much of my background is in supporting families navigating the child welfare system, including parents who have had their children removed from their care due to abuse or neglect, and foster and adoptive parents welcoming children into their home. I am drawn to the complexities of our lifelong journey of defining, redefining, seeking, and experiencing home, family, belonging, and identity. I am also a mom to three young children. I know the experience of being overwhelmed, overjoyed, tired, impatient, grateful, and fresh out of activities…all before 9am.
I welcome the opportunity to work with all individuals. I have a particular interest in working with parents navigating complicated family of origin dynamics, adult children of addicts, individuals struggling with addiction, and individuals wanting to examine their relationship to alcohol or substances. It is through being compassionately seen and accepted exactly as we are today that we have any shot at showing up tomorrow with intentionality and alignment with who we want to be.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches that are centered on the therapeutic relationship and flexible to support your goals.
